What is BDS?
BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is India's primary undergraduate dental degree, required to practice as a registered dentist. The course spans four years of academic study, followed by a mandatory one-year rotatory internship.
Admission to BDS in India is granted purely on the basis of NEET-UG scores, through All India Quota, State Quota, Management Quota or NRI Quota, depending on the college. The curriculum, prescribed by the Dental Council under the National Medical Commission framework, combines classroom learning, laboratory work and hands-on clinical training in dental hospitals.
Our counselling team helps students choose the right BDS college — private, deemed or government — based on their NEET rank, budget, category and location preference.
