Course Overview

What is MBBS?

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) is India's primary undergraduate medical degree, required to practice as a registered doctor. The course spans four and a half years of academic study, followed by a mandatory one-year rotatory internship.

Admission to MBBS in India is granted purely on the basis of NEET-UG scores, through All India Quota, State Quota, Management Quota or NRI Quota, depending on the college. The curriculum, prescribed by the National Medical Commission (NMC), combines classroom learning, laboratory work and hands-on clinical training in hospitals.

Our counselling team helps students choose the right MBBS college — private, deemed or central — based on their NEET rank, budget, category and location preference.
