NEET PG counselling is the admission process for MD, MS and PG Diploma seats across government, deemed, private and central institutions in India, based on your NEET PG score and rank.
Like undergraduate admission, PG seats are also split — 50% All India Quota counselled centrally by MCC, and the remaining 50% State Quota counselled by each state's own authority. Deemed and central institutions run through MCC as well.

Domicile for State Quota
A valid domicile certificate is required specifically for participating in that state's 50% state quota seats.
Category Certificates
Reservation-category candidates must have valid, current certificates ready for verification.

NEET PG Counselling Rounds
PG counselling generally proceeds through these sequential rounds, subject to each year's schedule.
Round 1
The first and largest round, based on your initial choice list and NEET PG rank.
Round 2
Open to fresh and existing candidates for seats vacated or unfilled after Round 1.
Mop-Up Round
A further round for remaining vacant seats, generally with tighter timelines and rules.
Stray Vacancy Round
The final round for any seats still vacant, typically for AIQ, deemed and central institution seats.
